When you enter the French doors from the Activities room, you will find our enclosed sun porch. This room is very popular with the residents and their families to enjoy the outside without the elements of nature.
You may find residents out on the porch gardening, enjoying meals with family, or just soaking up the sun or watching the rain, snow, or wind blow.
Looking straight ahead after entering the main entrance you will see the Dining Room. We have created a very refreshing atmosphere with the sun shining on the wood floors and the fireplace to give the residents a warm inviting place to have their meals.
In this picture you will find the Housekeeping Department polishing the wood floors.
There are four nurse stations similar to this one located throughout the Nursing Home. At these stations you will find the nurses and aides filling out the important and necessary paperwork that completes the residents' charts.

Pictured is our Restorative Therapy Department The department functions with two levels. The first level the resident works with the Physical Therapists to setup programs and work to get the residents to their highest level of independence possible. Then the Restorative aids take over to work with the residents to help them maintain that level.

We can accommodate couples here at Hillcrest. If both individuals agree to share a room, we can arrange for them to be together.
Mariann & Don Ogorzolka chose for one to live in our Assisted Living facilities and the other to live in our Nursing Home.

We have a Special Care Unit that has it's own living room, dining room, and nurse's station.
This is an environment designed for dementia residents to feel safe and secure.

Located through the French Doors is Lookout Patio, which is an extension of the dining room. From this patio you can enjoy a beautiful view the serene setting which includes the winding Pinecone Pathway and the Secret Garden nestled amidst the pine trees.

Hidden Pines has six suites similar to the one pictured here. They feature kitchenettes complete with refrigerators and microwaves. They also have there own climate control and private bath with shower for the resident's complete privacy.

Also located at Hidden Pines are four apartments featuring a bedroom. They are ideal for married couples. Added features in these kitchenettes, are a dishwasher and electric range.
Each suite has a beautiful and unique view of McCook. The Pinecone Path winds it's way around our little community.
